Youth Climate Mentorship Program – Key Achievements since COP23 and Future Prospects
The Youth Climate Mentorship Program was launched at COP 23 with the aim to increase youth capacity in UN climate negotiations and national climate change related policy development processes. The program is designed and coordinated in partnership with the Youth Climate Lab and the Government of the United Arab Emirates. This solutions-oriented program connects and engages youth with negotiators, policy-makers, high- level government representatives and international organizations by providing youth with meaningful opportunities in policy research and solutions development through mentorship. The program also facilitates collaboration and knowledge exchange among the participants. At the side event, participants and partner organizations will report back on the main achievements and discuss prospects for future activities.
Organized by: UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and The Youth Climate Lab.
